Useful S-Lang modules

S-Lang modules are packages containing several functions. They have to be loaded before they can be used:

  • xfig - plotting with XFig
  • gsl - GNU scientific library
  • stats - several statistic functions and tests
  • rand - random number/distribution module
  • profile - Run-time profiler: Analyses (nested) function run-times
  • socket - basic communication functions via TCP/IP
