Note for the curious: the cone in the background of the first Laguna Chaxa picture is the ~6000m volcano Licancabur. Further to the right (i.e. SE) lies a high-altitude plane, the construction site of the Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA).
Things to come: more Chile, Trekking in the Patagonian Andes, Alpes, Canary Islands, more Hawai'i of course ... after some scanning sessions.
