Show contents of desktop folder on Desktop

1. Click right on Desktop and, if not already happend, select "Unlock Widgets"
2. Click right on Desktop and select "Desktop Settings"
3. For Layout, select "Folder View", then click "Apply"
4. Now the Desktop shows the contents of your folder ~/Desktop/

Change automatic screen lock

1. Click on the K symbol in the bottom panel
2. Go to Applications -> Settings -> System Settings
3. Select "Desktop Behavior" (second row)
4. Select "Screen Locking" and change the settings there to whatever you prefer
5. Save your settings with "Apply"

Deactivate KDE Wallet

Edit ~/.config/kwalletrc, and add

   [Wallet]
   Enabled=false

Kill the kdewallet daemon:

   pkill kdewallet5
